Innovative Diversity Training—Diversity Arts has developed a one or two-day diversity training, centering on St. Anger’s art, to draw out participants’ experiences and feelings related to diversity through dialogue, questions, and reflective exercises that open lines of communication and pave the way for understanding, acceptance, appreciation, compassion, and unity. Organizations may also invite St. Anger to facilitate a structured art-making process with their employees, encouraging them to share and heal their own stories—a process which results in enhanced understanding, appreciation, communication, teamwork, and productivity.
Drawing A World Without Prejudice™—St. Anger has developed a workshop, regularly requested by schools, consisting of Diversity Arts exercises that take participants of all ages through a soul journey to explore the ways they have been impacted by oppression, discrimination, and prejudice. The outcome of this work is profound personal healing and transformation, in which individual participants reclaim their sense of wholeness and power, their connection to the rest of humanity, their ability to act as effective allies to all people, and reinvigorate precious lost dreams.
Facilitated Art Exhibits— We provide original diversity artwork for your organization, event, conference, or cocktail party—to offer a starting point for dialogue on issues of diversity. St. Anger facilitates the dialogue in a sensitive and caring way that opens hearts, minds, and mouths! She creates a safe, supportive, and respectful atmosphere in which honest inquiry, dialogue, and learning can take place.
Newsletter Cartoon Art—Diversity Arts offers whimsical and thought-provoking artwork for regular monthly or quarterly inclusion in your organization’s newsletter, to keep diversity a central issue among your members and open lines of communication.
Diversity Logo Design—Diversity Arts offers customized logo design services. St. Anger's dynamic diversity images lend an unforgettable marketing and promotional edge to Diversity Events, Task Forces, Committees, Publications and Projects. Let us customize to your specifications or choose an already-existing Diversity Arts design.
Organizational Assessment—We conduct focus groups and interviews with members of your organization, utilizing art to let employees talk about their own experiences and observations related to organizational areas such as: operations, structure, leadership management, culture, relationships, environment, systems and policies, member satisfaction, and diversity. Using this information, St. Anger is able to pinpoint key strengths and opportunities for improvement, make appropriate recommendations, and develop the finest training.
Original Diversity Art—Diversity Arts creates original artwork for your office, lobby, or waiting area, to send a clear signal to prospective employees, customers, and stakeholders that when it comes to diversity, you mean business. Your commitment to diverse employees, customers, and stakeholders is clear, and the art acts as a continuous reminder about the value you place on diversity.
Multi-Media Presentations—St. Anger customizes interactive, fantastic, and unforgettable diversity art shows—suitable for large assemblies, keynote presentations, and special events—to touch, inspire, educate, and cultivate unity. The show may be set to music, accompanied by song or poetry, and designed for audiences ranging from academic to corporate.
Artistic Notation—St. Anger is pleased to join your organization for a conference or meeting, absorbing the discussion and capturing important conference themes with her paintbrush. The resulting artwork may be offered to members at a fundraising auction, compiled into a book to promote awareness of your field, or hung at the office as an ongoing reminder of your important work. St. Anger captures important information and energy that would otherwise be lost due to the fleeting nature of the spoken word, and creates an organizational keepsake to enhance your work for years to come. St. Anger has performed artistic notation for the National Conference on Dialogue and Deliberation, and for Psychologists for Social Responsibility.
Retreats—Utilizing creative arts therapies, counseling, and dialogue, St. Anger facilitates “in the moment”—feeling out the group environment and providing what is needed to meet the group’s needs. Retreat components may include: inspirational and informative lecturettes on diversity, dialogue centering on St. Anger’s artwork, visioning and goal-setting, group and individual painting, journaling, songwriting, singing, meditating, crafting personal affirmations and prayers, listening to and interpreting music through movement, dramatic plays and readings, writing poetry, sharing in pairs, storytelling, games, play, and rest. Nourishing food and comfortable accommodations also complete the “diversity retreat” experience and set the stage for a truly special time!
Special Projects—St. Anger was commissioned by the Government of Ramsey County, Minnesota to develop a 52-week diversity art editorial to promote cultural diversity awareness and acceptance throughout Minnesota!
